Abstract: Endoscopic submucosal dissection( ESD) is a diagnosis and treatment technique based on endoscopic mucosal resection(EMR). At present, ESD is widely used in the treatment for early digestive tract cancer. The advantage of ESD is the ability of excising lesions completely. But,  this technique presents the higher technology difficulty and needs longer operating time, so the incidence rate of complications became higher. The usual complication includes bleeding, perforation and stricture. Realizing these complications completely and treat them effectively in time is very important for successful ESD.
