Abstract

Abstract: This paper aims to summarize the progress of nuclear medicine in the management of patients with inflammatory bowel disease(IBD). Radionuclide labelled WBC scintigraphy and 18FFDG PET represent a useful tool in the diagnosis, therapy response and disease monitoring of IBD.
