Abstract

Abstract: Endoscopy has a crucial role in the diagnosis and management of inflammatory bowel disease(IBD). Endoscopy has also a part in evaluating disease condition， mucosal healing(MH) and the risk for postsurgical recurrence， monitoring or screening colorectal cancer (CRC)， and in providing endoscopic treatment for inflammatory bowel hemorrhage and strictures，fistulas， primarysclerosing cholangitis and cholangiocarcinoma.
