Efficacy of cardiopulmonary resuscitation training mode: From tertiary hospital to community health service center then to community residents

Abstract:

Objective To study the efficacy of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training mode from tertiary hospital to community health service center then to community residents via health education platform. Methods The CPR skills of the medical staff of our center were regularly guided and assessed by the experienced personnel of the tertiary hospitals, and then, CPR training were carried out in 500 community residents who participated into the health education from September 2020 to September 2021. The manner of PPT explanation, manipulator operation, health education lecture, WeChat, micro-lecture, as well as multiple training modalities in combination were conducted, two questionnaires and examination questions of pre-post-training were performed to evaluate the training effectiveness.Results The community residents significantly enhanced the willingness and knowledge to CPR training of post-training as compared to those of pre-training (all P<0.05). Conclusion The CPR training mode from tertiary hospital to community health service center then to community residents has a significant effect, further generalization for improvement of the rescue success rate of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.
