Clinical features and treatment of statinsinduced liver injury

Abstract: Thanks to its antiinflammatoryand lipidmodulating effect,  statins are now  widely used in the treatment of atherosclerotic diseases, especially in the prevention of primary and secondary cardiocerebrovascular disease. However, its related side effects such as myopathy, rhabdomyolysis, and liver injury have been reported repeatedly.This article reviews the characteristics,  pathogenesis,  monitoring and the treatment of statinsinduced liver injury.
