Drug therapy of atrial fibrillation with organic heart disease

Abstract

Abstract: Atrial fibrillation (AF) is one of the most common types of arrhythmia with high disability rate and mortality rate in clinical practice. Treatment strategies of AF include anticoagulation to prevent thromboembolism, conversion and sinus rhythm maintenance and ventricular rate control. However, the process of atrial fibrillation with organic heart disease has its particularity. This article reviews the medication treatment for AF with organic heart disease.
