Progress in diagnosis and treatment of amniotic fluid embolism

Abstract: Amniotic fluid embolism is a rare but dreadful obstetric complications with a high maternal mortality, which caused by the transfer of amniotic fluid substances into the maternal circulation. In order to reduce the mortality, it is necessary to be familiar with the pathogenesis and clinical manifestations, and then make early diagnosis and choose the effective treatment.
