Abstract

Abstract: Being an important clinical indicator, blood lipids can reflect the metabolism of lipids in the bodyand are widely used in the prevention and treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD). Clinically, the excessive total cholesterol (TC) and/ortriglyceride (TG) , or inadequate highdensity lipoprotein cholesterol (HDLC) in plasma are defined as lipid abnormality. TG, HDLC, low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDLC), lipoprotein (a) ［Lp (a)］, ApoA1, ApoB are all of great significance for the assessment of the occurrence and development of ASCVD. This article reviews the classification of blood lipids and lipid abnormality.The clinical significance of lipid abnormality is also explored.
