Abstract: Antiinfective treatment of diabetic foot is one of the challenges in the field. Infection of diabetic foot will not only prolong wound healing time，but also may lead to amputation， even can threaten life. Only systemic antibiotic treatment does not solve all the problems of foot infection. Some local antiinfection adjuvant therapies such as the local debridement， antibacterial dressing， topical antibiotics， have certain antibacterial effect. This article will review the current researches on the local antiinfective treatment of diabetic foot.
