Improving circulation aggravates the orthostatic hypotension in a patient with Parkinson's disease: A case report

Abstract:

Objective To highlight non-motor symptoms in patients with Parkinson's disease (PD). Methods We reported therapeutic outcomes of a PD case with hypertension, who had been treated with anti-PD drugs, antihypertensive therapy and circulation-improving. Results The patient developed severe postural hypotension and syncope during the treatment. Conclusion Non-motor symptoms like orthostatic hypotension in PD patients should be highlighted by clinicians during the treatment.
