Abstract: Neonatal chylothorax is a rare disease in the neonatal period,  which can lead to respiratory failure at early birth and lifethreatening complications caused by the loss of massive lymphatic fluid,  such as infection,  malnutrition and immunodeficiency. A case report and literature review were conducted on the clinical manifestations,  laboratory examination,  nonenhanced MRI application and conservative treatment of neonatal chylothorax,  so as to enhance the understanding of pediatric clinicians in the diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
