Abstract: This paper systematically expounds the mechanism and significance of diabetic foot wound repair， timing， treatment principles， method selection principles and techniques. Special emphasis should be based on diabetic foot debridement and infection treatment， elaborated wound repair modes and methods. For different stages of the wound， an explanation follows the appropriate treatment principles. Some new techniques and new methods applied to promote healing at different treatment stages of wounds in recent years  are listed. At the same time， the paper illustrated the fundamental goal of diabetic foot wound repair as the concept of functional rehabilitation. It provides an effective treatment plan for the prevention and repair of clinical diabetic foot wounds and summarizes the experience.
