Parameters modulation of temporary  cardiac pacing

Abstract

Abstract: Temporary cardiac pacing (TCP) is significantly an emergency procedure to stabilize patients suffering from hemodynamically unstable bradyarrhythmia. It involves placing a catheterbased electrode into the right side of the heart and modulating parameters of pacemaker in order to pace the endocardium in a VVI mode. This article will focus on the indications for TCP placement and describe the modulation of parameters which will help reflect the pacing functions.
