Abstract: Critical care ultrasound was introduced to China in 2008 by Prof. Liu Dawei. In May 2013, Chinese Critical Care Ultrasound Study Group (CCUSG) was set up in Chengdu.  CCUSG conducts standardized training classes throughout China, spreading and popularizing critical care ultrasound concepts and applications. Critical care ultrasound is different from traditional ultrasound.
