Early diagnosis of lung cancer with new bronchoscopy techniques

Abstract

Abstract: The staging of lung cancer is one of the main factors that affects the prognosis of patients with lung cancer. Here， we review some new bronchoscopy techniques in early diagonis of lung cancer， such as fluorescence bronchoscope， narrow spectrum bronchoscope， ultrasonic bronchoscope， electromagnetic navigation bronchoscopy， virtual bronchoscopic navigation， confocal laser endomicroscopy， endocytoscopy system and optical coherence tomography imaging. These techniques overcome the defects of traditional methods and have greatly improved the early diagnostic rate of lung cancer.
