Management of hypovolemia in sepsis

Abstract: Patients with sepsis often have hypovolemia which is associated with adverse clinical outcomes. At present, the evidence concerning hypovolemia in sepsis is of low quality which is not conducive to the management of patients. Therefore,  this article reviews the latest development of and controversies over the treatment of hypoxemia in sepsis, including the timing and objectives of liquid treatment, the volume and type of liquid. Finally, the article summarizes questions that still have no clear answers in clinical practices.
